Fill out the form and book a call with Kerry at Haven, we can chat about your service and what support you are looking for. We will work out a plan to move forward, that may include us or it may not.
After a quick chat to make sure we’re the right fit for your service, you’ll finalise your invoice and book in your chosen support. From there, we’ll work through your sessions (depending on the option you choose) to cover all 7 Quality Areas — and before you know it, your QIP/SAT is done and ready to go 😊
Absolutely. We typically recommend starting with QA4 and can guide you on the structure we’ve found works best based on our experience. That said, you’re always welcome to set the priority order in a way that suits your service need.
You can invite anyone in your team to join you. We just ask you only have YOUR team and no one else's. A good number of people for the session is 1, 2 or 3.
All sessions are around 1.5-2 hours long
In the review only option, we will discuss all quality areas across 1, 2 or 3 sessions.
In the full rewrite you will cover one full quality area during each session.
In the maintenance sessions, this will be dependant on which quality areas you wish to discuss.
The costs are all dependant on what support you choose, we will happily discuss costs with you on any call.
1:1 time with your dedicated advisor who guides you through the content, evidence and language needed for your QIP/SAT.
Practical learning as you go: writing tips, what to include, what to leave out, and how to structure a strong, evidence-backed QIP/SAT.
This means you not only walk away with your content written, but you also build the skills to confidently “go it alone” in the future if you choose.
We sure do!
Our advisors write QIP/SAT's every day and are all highly experienced professionals from the early childhood sector. Each advisor is trained and supported by a former Authorised Officer, ensuring every piece of writing is:
Compliant with the National Law and Regulations
Meaningful and evidence-based
Written in a style appreciated and recognised by the Regulatory Authority
To maintain the highest standard of quality, our advisors also:
Regularly return to the sector to keep their occupational competence current
Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulatory expectations
Engage in ongoing professional development and networking to strengthen their practice
Plus they are just amazing at what they do and are extremely beautiful writers, hand picked by me personally.
This means your QIP/SAT content is written by people who know the sector, understand assessment expectations, and can write in a way that genuinely reflects high-quality practice. Everything written is also reviewed by our Senior Advisor and former Authorised Officer before it comes to you.
Absolutely! There is nothing in the National Law or Regulations that prevents a service from seeking help to understand requirements or write their documentation.
In fact, the sector widely uses consultants, peak bodies, advisors and networks for this exact purpose.
Regulators care about:
- Accuracy
- Honesty
- Quality practice
If your QIP/SAT is clearer, more reflective and better written because of support, that is seen as a positive, not a problem.
What they want to know is that what’s written genuinely reflects real practice, and that’s exactly what our approach supports (writing WITH you, not for you behind closed doors).
No templates, No prewritten statements...Your words, your service, we just guide and type.
Absolutely, we don't just leave you! We have a few options to support you. You can either join our Haven Hub and continue your sessions 1-1 with your advisor every month focusing on anything that has been a priority in your QIP/SAT as well as adding progress notes, this can be added as additional maintenance.
We also have our full service support options that include a range of remote support in all areas of quality and compliance should you feel this is needed. Don't forget we also offer compliance/quality visits, Mock A&R visits and we can also support you to write your RAP too.
So much support is available and we are only a phone call away too!
We completely understand that, particularly in early childhood, unexpected situations arise. With so many moving parts and responsibilities, it’s not uncommon to be called onto the floor at short notice — we truly appreciate the demands you are managing each day.
At the same time, we have a responsibility to support our team and ensure their time is respected. Our advisors dedicate and set aside time specifically to support your service, and late changes can result in them being unable to reallocate that time.
With this in mind, we are happy to honour the first rescheduled session as a goodwill gesture.
Any further changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $180 fee. This fee goes directly to your advisor to acknowledge the time they have reserved for you. Wherever possible, they will make every effort to offer the session to another service; however, if this is not achievable due to time constraints, the fee will apply.
A payment link will be provided, with settlement required within 7 days.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing partnership.
The short answer is no — the QIP/SAT alone doesn’t determine the A&R outcome.
What it does is lay a strong foundation. It captures your service’s story, highlights what you know you do well, and creates a clear, structured narrative.
A&R is where that story needs to come to life in practice. It’s about how your team demonstrates and embeds those practices day-to-day.
Our role is to take what you share with us and translate it into a QIP/SAT that reflects your service accurately and meaningfully. What we send back to you can absolutely align with Exceeding themes (and we will always aim to put your best foot forward), however, exceeding themes are ultimately observed and demonstrated through practice.
If you have any questions around this, feel free to reach out.
You can talk all day about your practices but struggle to document them?
Let us help!
You’ll be supported by our advisors who are sector professionals and understand your journey, with the reassurance of knowing everything is overseen by our former Authorised Officer.
Real guidance, real care, real results.
We’ll guide you through all 7 quality areas across 7 Zoom sessions, (or choose the amount of sessions you would like) highlighting the best of your service, even the things you might not notice yourself.
During the sessions, we:
Work with you to share your best practices, we prompt with reflective questions, we document everything you’re saying, and support you in identifying areas for improvement too.
Help you articulate your strengths as well as exceeding themes clearly and ensure they are written effectively, so your service shines in every quality area.
Bring 1-3 team members to each session.
Zoom sessions | 90–120 minutes each
Receive each quality area documented and returned within 7 days following review from our former Authorised Officer.
